AMANDA
The dance pop vocalist Amanda was born in France but grew up in Taby, Sweden where she joined a production of the musical “The Sound of Music”. Amanda went on to sing “Little Stars” at the Gothenburg World Athletics Game and soon got signed to Madonna’s label Maverick Records. She contributed the song “You Don’t Stand a Chance” to the soundtrack of the movie “Rugrats in Paris”. Her debut full-length offering “Everybody Doesn’t” hit the international shelves in the year 2000. It received favorable reviews and offered standard, but aptly executed pop and R&B fare with a fresh taste to it.
