Born on September 25, 1955 in Italy, musician Zucchero (real name Adelmo Fornaciari) started out writing Italian pop songs for other performers during the late 70's, while focusing on blues for his own material. After playing at the San Remo festival in 1982, the artist released his solo debut "Un Po' Di Zucchero", including the song "Donne", which became a hit. In the following two decades, he became one of Italy's best selling musicians. In 1994 he went on to perform at the Woodstock Festival with Eric Clapton, the Scorpions, and Pavarotti.
