Tito Nieves
Tito Nieves, born Humberto Nieves, is a Puerto Rican born, US-raised salsa singer. His career had its start in the 70's, when Nieves was working with the New York orchestra Cimarron. In 1977 Nieves moved on to join Conjunto Clásico with Héctor Lavoe. It was nearly a decade later, around 1986, before he decided to break out on his own, and he subsequently released a series of albums of salsa sung in English, something of a rarity in the genre. Nieves' biggest hit came in 1997 with the cheeky dancefloor favourite, "I Like It Like That".
