Tish Hinojosa recorded a string of country records. But "Dreaming From The Labyrinth" was nothing like her previous stuff. This one is unique. It was done with alternating English and Spanish verses, reflecting Tish's cultural background, which produced a special kind of passion. "Dreaming..." was probably her most intense album at that time. The singer from San Antonio listened a lot more to Tori Amos than Emmylou Harris before she went into the studio. Hinojosa switched back and forth between Spanish and English within each song, but self-indulgence sounds the same in either language.
