The Marshall Tucker Band

Southern rockers best known for the simple radio gem "Can't You See" and the absolutely perfect "Heard It In a Love Song."
Unlike most of their guitar-heavy Southern rock brethren, MTB often featured flute and saxophone solos in their music.
There is no one named Marshall Tucker in the band. The name originated from a blind piano tuner they knew in their hometown.
In 1972, the Marshall Tucker Band formed in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The Toy Factory was the band's original name -- after lead guitarist Toy Caldwell.
