A British pop rock band with folk/punk leanings, the Levellers are similar to Hothouse Flowers, only better. The band play a mix of hippie-meets-Punk Folk-Rock tinged with traditional Celtic music. The Levellers formed in Brighton, England in 1988. The album Levelling the Land spawned the hit "One Way," which went to No. 1 on the British Indie charts.
