Though they are a fictious band, Spinal Tap has gained a very real and very loyal fan base.
Spinal Tap is played by comedians Harry Shearer, Christopher Guest and Michael McKean.
In 1992, Spinal Tap made a musical comeback with the album, Break Like the Wind.
Ironically, Spinal Tap's faux-Metal was better music than many of the bands they parodied.
