Small Faces

The Small Faces began as a blues journeyman, only to later help spearhead the British mod psychedelic movement in America.
The band came to the public's attention with the release of the spacey concept album, "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake."
They also gained notoriety by being the first outfit to publicly admit that they trashed their hotel rooms.
The Small Faces changed their name to "The Faces" in 1969, after Steve Marriott left to form Humble Pie.
One of the best-loved bands in Britain with a string of hits, they later were ignobly known as Rod Stewart's backup band.
