Scott Weiland

Scott Weiland is a Grammy-winning American singer and composer. He is best known as the erstwhile lead singer of the Stone Temple Pilots. Separated from the band during his well-publicized battle with drugs, Weiland released the 1998 solo album "12 Bar Blues" with Quebec producer Daniel Lanois. He now works with Velvet Revolver, a super-group formed by well-known Guns n' Roses alumnis. In 2004 Velvet Revolver released their debut album "Contraband" and toured for seventeen months. In 2006, Weiland joined the Camp Freddy line-up of ad hoc concert happenings with celebrity musicians.
