Robert Wyatt's intelligent, introspective songs and haunted voice make him one of music's greatest unsung heroes. Wyatt started out as a drummer for the Soft Machine until a three-story fall left him paralyzed. Elvis Costello wrote the song "Shipbuilding" for Wyatt to sing.
