Overkill
The trash-metal outfit Overkill was founded in New York, USA in 1984. Their brutal, make-no-prisoners approach to music won them a devoted following. They released their full-length debut album "Feel the Fire" in 1985, but their most successful record was to be the 1991 offering "Horrorscope", an attempt to broaden their musical diversity. After the release of "W.F.O." (1994), the band moved to CMC International and recorded albums like 1999's "Coverkill", which celebrated their influences with covers of songs by Black Sabbath and others.
