Former Crowded House band-leader Neil Finn started his music career as lead guitarist and a songwriter for his brother's group Split Enz. He wrote the band's first major hit "I Got You" in 1977, which helped to launch the group internationally. When Split Enz split up in 1985, Finn founded Crowded House. A decade later, following brilliant international success, Finn dissolved Crowded House in favour of solo work. He released two studio albums, "Try Whistling This" and "One Nil", and two live albums on either side of the year 2000. He marks three decades as a force in popular music.
