Nas

A high caliber lyricist from Queensbridge, Nas' vivid street poetry on his debut, "Illmatic," made him an instant star.
Nas made his wax debut on the track "Live At The Barbeque" from Main Source's "Breaking Atoms."
Nas' second album "I Am" found massive love on the radio, though some fans began to cry "sellout."
Nas grew up in Queensbridge Houses, home to rap stars Marley Marl, MC Shan, Havoc, Capone, and Cormega.
In late 2000, Nas released the all-QB compilation album "QB Finest." It featured the hit "Oochie Wally."
