British Metal kingpins led by Lemmy Kilmister and best known for the song "Ace of Spades."
Before forming Motorhead in 1975, Lemmy Kilmister was in the legendary Space Rock outfit Hawkwind.
He got kicked out of Hawkwind when he was arrested for possession while on tour in Canada. He started Motorhead soon after.
The band was originally called Bastard.
In London city-slang a "motorhead" is a speedfreak.
