A dangerous mic assassin, Kurupt got his start dropping blazing verses on "The Chronic" and "Doggystyle."
Though he's usually associated with California, Kurupt came up in Philadelphia.
Also known as Young Gotti, Kurupt is one-half on Tha Dogg Pound (now called DPG) with Daz Dillinger.
Kurupt's first solo LP, "Kurruption" (1998) was the first to have an "east coast" side and "west coast" side.
