Kim Richey
Kim Richey was born in 1956 in Detroit, Ohio. The female country singer/songwriter has released a string of albums. Her self-titled solo debut came out in 1995. She also issued "Bitter Sweet" (1997), "Glimmer" (1999) and "Rise" (2002). The latter was put out by Lost Highway Records - the label that is also the home of Ryan Adams. The album was produced by mastermind Bill Bottrell who brought out the best in Richey. Kim Richey used to travel South America and Europe a lot and she also worked as a cook at Nashville's famous Bluebird Café before she started her career in music.
