A rock/rap superstar from Detroit, Kid Rock's first album, "Grits Sandwiches For Breakfast," dropped way back in 1990. Born Bob Ritchie, Kid Rock spent his youth in Romeo, Mich. Kid Rock's band/crew Twisted Brown Tucker included Joe C. as hype-man and Uncle Kracker on the decks. After years of paying dues, Kid Rock finally blew up in '98 with the success of singles like "Bawitdaba" and "Cowboy." In 2000, Kid Rock's sidekick Joe C. died of health complications at age twenty-six.
