Eugenio Finardi
The Italian musician Eugenio Finardi played in a number of bands during the early seventies, but he released his debut album as a solo act in 1975. It was slightly progressive rock-oriented, the genre being the music of choice of that time. Finardi's 1976 single "Musica Ribelle" made him a star. His second album "Sugo" followed shortly afterwards. While mainly working with session musicians during his first issues, Finardi built up a steady backing band as of the 1978 album "Blitz". The 1979 release "Roccando Rollando" veered more towards pop.
