Diamond Rio

This bluegrass-inspired band included members of the Young Ambassadors, Osborne Brothers and the Nitty Gritty Dirt band.
Diamond Rio got their name from a logo on the side of a truck. Before that they were known as the Tennessee River Boys.
In 1991 Diamond Rio's first single "Meet In the Middle" was the first ever debut country single to hit No.1 on the charts.
On their third album, "Live A Little Stronger," Diamond Rio experimented with acoustic jazz on the song "Kentucky Mine."
Diamond Rio performed for President George W. Bush at the 2006 Republican National Committee's Presidential Gala.
