Basically just one man -- Chris Carrabba -- is Dashboard Confessional.
In 2001, the track "Screaming Infidelities" turned into an MTV hit.
The band's name comes from a line in one of Carrabba's songs, "On the way home/ This car listens to my confessions."
Their live concerts are known for intimate group sing-a-longs between band and audience.
