Captain & Tennille
“Captain” Daryl Dragon and his wife Toni Tennille formed a music duo in 1973 after working together on a musical revue Tennille had composed. In the same year they self-released their debut single “The Way I Want to Touch You”, but it was their second offering, the Neil Sedaka/Howard Greenfield cover “Love Will Keep Us Together” that made their fame. They remained Top Ten material for a number of years, but the buying masses started to loose interest in them in the early eighties. As of the mid-eighties Tennille also appeared as a solo artist.
