Bukka White
Bukka White was a Country Blues guitarist and singer with a distinctive style. He is best known for "Parchman Farm Blues."
Booker Washington "Bukka" White is B.B. King's first cousin.
Following a stint in the US Navy, White's cousin B.B. King lived with him for a while.
While serving time for assault, White recorded two songs for the Library of Congress. One, "Shake 'Em On Down," became a hit.
After being released from prison, White's songs focused on death, trains, prison and drinking.
