Brad Mehldau

Jazz pianist Brad Mehldau is revered for his finely-toned chops and exceptional ballad work.
While a junior in high school, Mehldau won the Best All-Around Musician Award from the Berklee College of Music.
He studied at the New School in New York, under Jimmy Cobb who hired him to play in his band.
Mehldau has consistently played with bassist Larry Grenadier and drummer Jorge Rossy since 1995.
The first jazz record he ever bought was John Coltrane's "Blue Train."
