Blue Man Group
The Blue Man Group was founded in 1987 by friends Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton and Chris Wink in New York. They put together a show, which was an explosion of energy, using their own custom musical instruments, visual gags and physical stunts, all characterized by the trio’s blue-painted skin. Moving up from street shows in Central Park, the group eventually found their way to Broadway, London’s West End and Las Vegas. In 1999 they released the LP “Audio”, followed by “The Complex” in 2003, with guest appearances by Tracy Bonham and Dave Matthews.
