Anti-Flag
The Pittsburgh band Anti-Flag was part of the anti-skinhead/anti-violence punk scene in USA. Their music has earned them an international following, and they toured with bands that share their political stance. They have had a sustained career, now passing the decade mark, as a politically outspoken band. Their first appearance was on local radio in 1993. Early in their career Anti-Flag opened for the famous bands like the Circle Jerks, U.K. Subs, and the Exploited. In 2004 they campaigned against George Bush before signing with a major label (RCA). "For Blood and Empire" came out in 2006.
