Allen Toussaint
A songwriter, producer and a brilliant pianist, Toussaint is a seminal figure in 1960s New Orleans pop and soul.
He wrote Lee Dorsey's "Working in the Coalmine," Dr. John's "Right Place, Wrong Time" and Glen Campbell's "Southern Nights."
Amazingly, Toussaint also wrote "Lady Marmalade," "Mother-In-Law" (Ernie K-Doe) and the theme song for "The Dating Game."
