This Scottish fiddler has parlayed his skills into international success by marrying traditional folk to New Age.
Fraser founded the Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddling School in California and hosts a yearly retreat in the Isle of Skye.
This native Scot now lives in the Sierra Nevada foothills in Northern California with his family.
Fraser's label, Culburnie Records, is named for a prehistoric stone circle -- sort of a miniature Stonehenge -- in Scotland.
The fiddler has contributed his skills to movie soundtracks including "Titanic" and "The Last of the Mohicans."
