A.R. Rahman has been a leading Bollywood composer since the 1990s, when his pan-culturalism revolutionized film music. The Bollywood Brass Band has recorded an all-brass tribute album to Rahman's compositions. Rahman's exuberant soundtrack for the 1999 film "Dil Se" spawned the perenniel dance hit "Chaiyya Chaiyya."
